4 weeks behind?! yeah, we know.. but let us give you a nice retrospective..
..so these pics are from around May 10th; as you can see on the left, Hawrelak Park ain't looking that green.. yet! By now, we're in famous Canadian BBQ season, and everything is in bloom and green... finally!
As some of you might know, we joined an ultimate frisbee team ("The Muffins".. don't laugh.. we kick a**!), so we went out to practice throwing with our victim C. (in green). If you're wondering what ultimate is, check out the Edmonton Ultimate homepage (www.eupa.ca).
And if you're wondering what the other 2 pics are about, well that's famous West Edmonton Mall! Not only do they have over 800 shops, the mall also includes a waterpark, glow-in-the-dark-minigolf, an ice rink, dolphin shows (top picture, left side), the deep sea adventure with a small submarine (top picture on the right), roller coasters and tons of restaurants (= women's paradise :)!
The most interesting thing though, we find, is that most people like to come here on the most beautiful days when it's sunny out. Hmmm... well, more room for us at the parks!
